BSU Leadership’s BHM Playlist

The BSU members and leadership with Mayor London Breed, inviting everyone to celebrate Black History Month.

Spanning everything from jazz to gospel to rap, and even indie, Black music was and remains an integral part of Black culture. Undoubtedly, music is a central part of Black History month, boldly expressing pride and empowerment, and honoring our past, throughout the celebratory month of February.

BSU leadership compiled a playlist of the 2022-23 BSU Leadership team’s favorite songs for Black History Month. Pulling from everything from the Billboard to film soundtracks, our songs range from spiritual to danceable, political to confidence-boosting. Enjoy!
